On November 20th the Dean Family held the annual charity Golf Day and auction to raise awareness and funds for Frontier, the Frontotemporal Dementia Research Group. Husband and father of 3 Stephen Dean was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA) – a rare and aggressive form of dementia at 50 years old. Frontier – which operates partly from government funding and from private donors works tirelessly to understand PPA – a rare form of dementia better. This year Rural Health is a proud auction item donor.
