The Role: Rural Health is seeking a New Graduate Exercise Physiologist to share an existing diverse caseload.

The perfect candidate is driven, eager to learn and a natural rapport builder. You will work closely with experienced Physiotherapists, Accredited Exercise Physiologists & Podiatrists in clinical rooms and our well equipped on-site gym.

  • Recently graduated from Uni studies? Congratulations and here’s to your next adventure!
  • This exciting time can be underpinned with an underlying uncertainty. Over the past 4 years you’ve had a goal and plan, you’ve achieved it but what is next?
  • Would you love to join a nurturing and collaborative team?
  • Does an open, light and bright clinic with a large and ​spacious gym filled with strength & conditioning equipment excite you?
  • Do you crave guidance and support to develop your skills and excel in private practice in a multidisciplinary team?

The Role: Rural Health is seeking a Full Time Physiotherapist to share an existing caseload of musculoskeletal clientele. The perfect candidate is driven and experienced in building and maintaining a strong client caseload and is a natural rapport builder.

  • Are you a Physiotherapist with 2 or more years of private practice experience?
  • Would you love to work within a nurturing and collaborative team culture in a region renowned for pristine waterways, spectacular alpine adventures and outdoor beauty?
  • Would you enjoy working in an open, light and bright clinic with a large and spacious gym filled with strength & conditioning equipment?

If you answered yes to all of the above, then we could be the team you’re looking for!

The successful applicant will get…

  • Fortnightly one-on-one meeting with the Director to focus on what you want to develop – whether that’s clinical reasoning or clinical skills, leadership and mentoring, or personal development.

You will work closely with Physiotherapists, Accredited Exercise Physiologist & Podiatrists in clinical rooms and our well equipped on-site gym in a primarily musculoskeletal role. Areas of clinical practice will typically include:

  • Gym based rehabilitation, strength & conditioning

  • Assisting in marketing initiatives
  • Liaison with GP’s, Specialists, & Plan Managers

  • Acute sports injuries
  • Orthotic and AFO prescription, modification and repair
  • Diabetic foot care
  • Nail and skin problems
  • Gym based rehabilitation, strength & conditioning
  • Pre/post operation rehabilitation
  • Assisting in marketing initiatives
  • Liaison with GP’s, Specialists, & Plan Managers
