Join Our Youth Athlete Development Sessions

The demands of competition and skill based training on a young athlete are growing each year.

Many 14-year-olds play multiple sports, train every day and compete on Saturdays and Sundays, year round. It is great to see our youth so physically active, but this high level of involvement can come with consequences if they’re not exposed to the necessary guidance in their athletic development.

​Typically the training provided by coaches is solely focused on the skill and fitness specific to the sport and not the foundation movements that can set them up for lifelong health, wellbeing and involvement in sport. Our Youth Athletic Development Program has been designed to fill this void and provide a platform for young athletes to reach their full potential. It is not just about setting them on a path to potentially become great athletes in the future, but more so about teaching them to develop the skills and attributes to prevent injuries, stay in sport for a long time and grow into well rounded athletes.

  • Athletes aged between 11 – 18yrs (Highschool years 6 – 12)
  • Regularly participate in competitive sport
  • May have suffered recurrent or niggling injuries
  • Want an injury free season
  • Want to perform at their best

Running for 10 sessions over term 3, every Monday straight after school.

Cost is $350 for pre assessment and 10 session term pass with private health rebates available!

All youth athletes will undergo screening testing followed by individualised and periodised training planned and supervised by accredited Exercise Physiologists in a small like minded group.

The training program will look to enhance:

  • Movement efficiency and competency
  • Strength
  • Power Output and Landing Mechanics
  • Speed and Agility
  • Mobility

Each athlete will also be provided with a high level of continuing education surrounding exercise technique, correct training practices in the gym and recovery. This will allow youth athletes to gain all the information and skills they need to help reach their potential and sporting goals.
